I want him here. But the good news is that as depleted at the dirty birds are, what they'll give up to get him will guarantee they'll suck for the next few years, so there's that.

If they're just waiting on the timing from Atlanta the right thing to do is reach out to us and let us know it's done so we can move on.

My hope is that there is no "trade" partner. The Colts should be sick of the mediocrity at QB & ignore the band aid old vet @ QB. They recently tried with Rivers, then Wentz & both failed.

You're right though, we want to make Fontenot & Ryan Pace's job as hard as possible to win in the NFC South & beyond. They'll definitely need the draft capital.

I agree with you and several other people here....I’d love a franchise QB but I think it’s time to move on and utilize FA while there’s still quality guys there. Add in the draft with all the picks we saved and move forward.
Re-sign Winston or Minshew, grab a couple WR, o line depth and defense help where needed and I think we at least get into playoffs. Anything else can be addressed next year. Can’t have it all in one offseason...Rome wasn’t built in a day

I completely understand your point, and I agree completely. That said, I just want a GOOD QB, I don't care what color he is.

For the record, I loved Jeff Blake, back in the day. lol
Actually, the first jersey I ever bought with my own money was a Jeff Blake jersey in 2000. Then he got hurt and lost his job to Aaron Brooks.

Granted, Brooks was more talented, but he had issues.
