Re: Deshaun Watson to Saints?
Oh yeah Calloway. He is ok too, like Harris. The point is that those guys are #4 or #5 options on many playoff contenders, and if they are our #1 and #2 we have problems and won't be consistent. Plus they are human and miss games, and then if MT pulls an MT, we have Little Johnson Howard and Adam Troutman as our top threats and we maybe don't score any points. Its great that we have better receivers than Atlanta, but neither being #31 or #32 in the NFL in receiver core quality is good for getting value out of a QB you sell the farm for, and I don't trust Michael Thomas to be there.

More assumptions being made about how players feel...
It was reported plenty of players on our own team were actively recruiting Watson. I think they all want to win and want the best players around them. |

Now enter Matty Icy hot to the equation, they are stalling to find a suitor for him. ATL is a bottom (Houston 2.0) tier team, no WR, no O line, no RB, no defense & a shaky HC but he needs the weekend to "think about it" ? Saints got a top 7 defense, weapons on offense, All Pro on the line , basically a ready to win now team ... if you really want to "win", this is a EASY choice. I say it's time to move on. Go find a QB to who wants to be here, use the 30M and find more dawgs at WR/OL/depth pieces & help us get back to where we want to be in late January. Enough is enough with Desean's camp, his emotions and the stalling shenanigans. End rant |

If they're just waiting on the timing from Atlanta the right thing to do is reach out to us and let us know it's done so we can move on. |

Re: Deshaun Watson to Saints?
We really have no idea what or who is holding things up right now. It could be Houston or one of the trade partners getting all of the "i's" dotted and "t's" crossed. There may need to be some pre-trade restructuring required. Watson may have already gave his consent on the no-trade clause.
Or not. |

You're right though, we want to make Fontenot & Ryan Pace's job as hard as possible to win in the NFC South & beyond. They'll definitely need the draft capital. ... "Walks like a Falcon, quacks like a Falcon." |
