I didn't like any of 'em 'cept for Hill, and I can't speak intelligently about Book

LOL. I’m not a Book guy really. Nothing against him but I have my doubts. He maybe could play in the right system with the right players. I would
not hitch my wagon to him.

My thoughts when I started the thread was more of a look at how people felt about him and the other QB draft picks that Payton made that did not pan out. Not a good track record but, but he didn’t need one with Drew
at the helm. At least none of them were first or second rounders that busted.

The book is still out on Ian Book ... If not Book as backup, who then. Certainly not Trevor S. . Is Matt Flynn still available?

I'm fine with him as the #2 because we drafted him if for no other reason. Lots of guys gel with opportunity, so either give him the opportunity or cut bait is my take on it.

So Joe Montana sucked?

It's a wee bit premature to close the book on Ian Book, neaux?
Joe Montana’s career ended when I was four years old. In my lifetime I haven’t see a successful ND QB.
