They should get more out of the two days of practice with the Packers this week than all three preseason games put together. At least that's what I have heard coaches and GM's say here recently.

It will take some time before he takes the starting LT spot away from Hurst.

Lol.

Naw, it's gonna take time just like all of the other rookies. As most expected, his pass blocking & footwork needs fine tuning.

What I like most about Trevor is that he's coachable, has a mean streak and a ridiculous ceiling. He could end up as your starting bookend for the next 8-10 years.

From NFL.com
52) Saints first round pick Trevor Penning didn't start the preseason opener and then had the lowest PFF pass-blocking grade on the team, giving up a sack, a QB hit and three pressures with a penalty in 26 passing downs. Penning's competition at left tackle, James Hurst, played six snaps alongside the rest of the starters.

The first show only Penning's pass-blocking rating. I would assume his run blocking numbers on the other 30 snaps must have been so high that his overall rating was as high as it was.

Tony Jones is the #3......at this stage might be a r
Tougher running than Mark Ingram (even though how much I love him). Trequan needs to be released now. I'm still hoping for book, but he doesn't look good.
