He certainly gave me some highlights that I can enjoy this week.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Seahawks

I was out of market and unable to watch the game except for the bonus coverage. I tuned in just in time to see Cam Jordan's game-clinching and sack and TreQuan's first down to seal the game, which was nice.

But it's okay I wasn't able to watch the game, because there was something else that I was intended to see - the bonus coverage of the end of the Bucs/Falcons game.

I know it sounds painful, but watch the 4th quarter of the Bucs/Falcons when you can. The Falcons got jobbed by the refs just as hard, if not harder as we did vs Tampa, with key bad calls on 3rd down extending Tampa drives (sound familiar?).

The refs have pulled out the stops this year. Divorce Boy has the refs in his pocket to a level we've never seen before. This may be even worse than the "Jordan Rules". All respect I had for Brady is completely gone. He can go kick rocks. Belichick was/is the dude.

And that is how you use him effectively. He’s not a starting quarterback. He’s a gadget player that’s effective when used properly.

I’ll share a less vague explanation lol.

We didn’t improve on turnovers, penalties are average for us this season, while it was our best offensive showing of the season it was also our worst defensive showing.

Hill reminded me of Tebow in college. He put on a clinic. He blocks better than our O-Line.

These two plays strung together; the 51 screen to Kamara, followed by the Hill TD pass, reminded me of 2009.

Hills TD run, at the end he heard the pursuing defender and had the awareness enough to chest the ball with both arms and secure it. He needs to teach that to the rest of the offense.

If we want to make the playoffs we need to start Taysom.

Dalton did a good job of controlling the game and he will be fine if we have someone to throw to. Hill was Hill, he is a baller.

Saw that.

Does Jerome Boger (head ref) really understand what roughing the passer means? Awful call but Brady was under center.

Just read an article on this. The ref said the reason for the penalty was that the QB was unnecessarily thrown to the ground. That is absolutely the biggest load of crap I have ever heard.

This team just doesn't seem to have it together. Details are often missed, repeated penalties and more turnovers.

I think Dalton looked sharp for the most part. Still too much pressure in his face. But he seems to make much better reads than JW.

I'd love to see Dalton as starter and Taysom continue doing what he does. That combination seems really difficult to defend.

I respect your opinion.
However, I'm of the opinion that he can be a starting QB if used properly, not Pete's vanilla play calling, but a dynamic offense designed for Taysom's strengths & run-threat.
The dude trained to be a TE this season and so far he's been our most effective QB, and still gets labeled as a gadget?... ok, whatever.
