Realistically speaking, I go into every game expecting the Saints to win. Sometimes circumstances arise that interfere with that expected outcome. Yet, since I have that individual game expectation does it not make sense that I have the same expectation for the sum of those games on a season long basis? As in with individual games sometimes circumstances arise that interfere, however.

They are closely related, yet different. Hope is wishing for or optimism about something in the future. I would hope we all have "hope" when it comes to the Saints. For me that is a given. Expectation is a strong belief in something in the future. I also have an expectation that they will win each week. They are talented enough to beat any other team in any given week. I honestly believe the Saints teams over the last couple of decades can and will win as the ball is kicked off each and every week. I am, of course, disappointed when that does not happen. Not pissed off, simply disappointed.

Also, to be honest, that wasn't the expectation for much of the first 25-30 of following my Saints. The hope has always been there, but there wasn't the same expectations I have felt most recently.

As long as we have both Kamara and Taysom healthy and running the ball I feel like our offense can be good enough to beat anyone. Anything we get with the passing game is just gravy.

Every team misses in the draft. Some franchises miss more than others. There is risk involved but Jeff Ireland increased our winning percentage dramatically when he came on board. He's great with defensive backs. O-linemen? Not so much.
