Re: Observations from the Saints last second loss to Bucs
I don’t understand the hate on Dalton. I mean I get that he’s not the new face of the franchise. But he played pretty good from a stat point. I didn’t watch the game.
Hell I stopped following it in the 4th with time winding down and a 16-3 lead so I could get my son to bed. Checked it a bit later and saw we blew it and lost. I just started laughing. How pathetic. |

Dalton is very similar to what Jim Everett was when he played for the Saints. Puts up decent numbers but not wins. Jim Everett was the king of garbage yards, Dalton isn't too far behind him... lol

Like the Ravens with Dilfer, the Bucs with Brad Johnson, the Broncos with a spent Manning, the Saints could win with Dalton. |

Oh Relly, you’re just mad that ol’ Crabby Patty isn’t the QB. Lol. Dalton hasn’t been bad at all. He’s just not going to light the world on fire. He was brought in as a backup. He’s been better than most in that same role that get tossed into the starting lineup.

Tomlin was not an in-house hire, FWIW.
