Observations from the Saints last second loss to Bucs
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Keeping Marcus Williams would have been great, but the Saints did the right thing by letting him walk due to his salary demands. IMO, FS is generally a position best not to break the bank on, and in most situations ...

Keeping Marcus Williams would have been great, but the Saints did the right thing by letting him walk due to his salary demands. IMO, FS is generally a position best not to break the bank on, and in most situations is easy to find suitable replacements through the draft or mid tier free agency. Of course the talent evaluators must do a better job and not bring in almost washed up guys named Honey Badger...
