So obviously he's willing to go there
People still pining for his return.

They must have finally agreed on the basic requirements of a first plus a few other picks.

My guess is that the Saints came up with an NFL Draft Trade Value Chart number that has to include at least a 1st rounder. Let's say 4000 points.

Request for interviews are going out left and right. Sean Payton better get busy if he wants the cream of the crop.

That's why i say 2 #1's and a 2 @2's or a 3rd would be good comp in the 10 to 12 range

Hmmm in conference move ?

That would definitely cost Tepper & the Panthers serious compensation.

Carolina is sitting @ #9 in the draft. I’d take that :bng:

Jim Trotter doesn't think Staley is going anywhere. His thoughts on what the Chargers will do.

Panthers also requested to speak with Fangio.

Sean now out there telling Cowherd that compensation will be mid/late 1st rounder.

Put there interfering with the process, lowering thr price they can ask for. Willing to talk to Carolina. And people want him back.

The price was a mid to low 1st all along, lee. That's no news to anyone. That's what Loomis has been telling everyone that has inquired before they can even speak with Payton. All Payton is doing is repeating what was already a given to Cowherd.

Payton obviously doesn't want to lose too much draft capital for the team that will hire him.

Shut up, Sean.:biggun:

Sean is just saying exactly what Loomis has already told each of the teams that have permission to speak with Payton. He's not sharing anything that isn't already out there to those who matter. :D

Why not? Loomis has already put it out there with every team that has looked into Payton.

If the Saints let SP bend them over with a meaningless set of draft picks, shame on them.

The picks are going to be basically the same wherever Payton chooses to go. They were already basically agreed upon before the team ever got the okay to speak with Payton. He has no say on them.

Jim Harbaugh staying at Michigan

That eliminates another big "name" off of the NFL Head Coaching carousel.

More importantly, Sean P remains the "hot commodity".

Re: SP Putting Together a Staff

As Duncan confirms, everyone who matters already knew what the trade parameters were as did anyone with the desire to know. They were shared up front with everyone interested.

He didn't really need to look did he? The roster is his creation and the bolt was last off-season.:bng:

Mebbe SP i thinking along those lines, or at least it appears so... Which is disgusting actually , if you think about it. Loomis has not so far been adversarial in teasing he might bend over on trade terms.
