Hey Smash - I see MT out there but is he participating in the "basic" drills yet? This is definitely a time for those other guys (Perry, Edwards, Shaquan D, Baker, etc) to take advantage of those reps. Even at OTA's. |

Buddy D used to hand those out on the regular. | |

As for being a sideline queen, not sure what you are implying by that. He's doing just as much and has been just as involved as any other Saints player that has been going through the off-season recovery programs. Carr said he and Thomas are constantly going over routes and execution so that they are each on the same page. They have been doing this remotely for some time, according to Carr, but at OTA's he said they are getting much more out of it. |

Being there is just as important. Even with veterans. These younger guys (Olave, Shaheed, Johnson) look up to Mike. Can't wait for camp. |

Re: Official 2023 OFFSEASON Thread
There is something special brewing in New Orleans right now and the fans can feel it too. This may have been the best offseason that I can remember since I became a Saints fan in '77. The front office identified our needs and wants then addressed them by bringing in new faces for competition throughout the roster. I feel much more comfortable about our depth than last year and that was a critical factor that led to a 7-10 season.
We'll see if the coaching can hold up this time around. |
