Speaking of safety play, I'll be curious to see what Abram can do here.
Could be a "fit" to replace Ceedy, especially considering the Saints only roll with 2 LB's. This is the type of signing that may have been a result of that long TD play by Shenault trucking the Honey Badger in 2022. And also that Chase TD in the dome. Abrams isn't a guy I want in coverage, but his tackling ability close to the LOS is solid, solid. He will thump you. Training camp awaits. |

Re: Official 2023 OFFSEASON Thread
During the height of the heat wave (no rain) we had here, daily, since I have a couple of flower beds sharing the same zones. When it rains hard, as it did yesterday, not at all. Real rain is always better than irrigation. I can't wait a week to mow, however. It's really every three days, maybe four. And I raised mower height to 3 inches, from 2. Can't really cut it short when it's that hot. Also can't cut too much at one time. It'll promote those yellowing spots. While I considered mowing lower, like 1.5 inches, at the end of the day, one needs a level lawn, a reel mower that's not a push mower, and more effort and work. It's just like keeping one's hair short and neat, it's more work than you think.

Re: Official 2023 OFFSEASON Thread
I grew up in South West Texas and we got rain twice a year. We did have plenty of cactus growing that was green instead of grass though. Good lord, it was hot!
