Who knows? Payton may want him as his OC. Since it's a lateral move the Saints could block it if he was still under contract ... or they could ask for compensation.

By the way, Rugs, where did you get the idea he didn't want the OC job with the Saints? There was a rumor that he didn't want to interview for the head coaching position, but I believe that was because he WANTED to remain as the Saints' OC.
