Another consideration with the Ronald Curry interview is that the Saints can block any acquisition from another team by promoting that coach to the position for which they are being interviewed.
In other words, the Saints could offer Curry the OC job and if he accepts they could move on from Carmichael. |

![]() By the way, Rugs, where did you get the idea he didn't want the OC job with the Saints? There was a rumor that he didn't want to interview for the head coaching position, but I believe that was because he WANTED to remain as the Saints' OC. |
