It was a borderline call. The reason Bradberry is owning up to it is that he saw what happened to the Saints when they criticized the refs. The most penalties were called on them for years. He does not want to drown in flags until he is washed out of the leagues. If you are a player and you miss a game due to a family emergency and in the game you miss a key controversial penalty is inexplicably called on you when you are 2000 miles away, the smartest thing unfortunately is to own up to the penalty and praise the brilliant officiating. Otherwise you are public enemy #1 for not realizing what a hard job the refs have and not respecting their authority and trying to embaresss them.

i think the big issue, at least for me was this hand fighting happened throughout the first 55 minutes or so with little or no calls, now all of sudden it was called at that moment. Once again, was it holding? yes....should it have been called in that situation, at that moment? not so sure. I'm like you good to see ceedy lose.

All I can say (again) is Mahomes is a monster and Andy Reid is a Master Strategist. Wish we had both.

And I don't agree with people who say you shouldn't call that at the end of the game. I don't get why the rules should change at the end of the game. |

Re: I am pi$$ed off to the heights of pi$$$tivity!
It was clearly a hold. It seems that most people complaining are assuming the call was on Bradbury's left hand use. That's not what drew the flag It was his right hand earlier on the cut that clearly stretch the jersey of the receiver and impaired his ability to make the cut. See below.
It wasn't at this point ... itthe hold happened about three yards earlier. |
