this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; What makes it real depressing is that as a Longhorns fan I go from watching Sark's offense (IMO he is one of the top 10 offensive football minds on the whole planet) to whatever the bleep the Saints are doing!...

Olave just turned around and saw Thomas catch it, then just watched him go upfield. Definitely didn't look designed that way. |

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
On Sunday Chris Olave was held to single-digit receiving yards for the first time in his career, finishing with a single 4-yard reception on 5 targets. Michael Thomas didn’t catch his second pass from Carr until there were six minutes left in the third quarter. Carr funneled a ton of passes to Alvin Kamara (who caught all but one of his 14 targets), but they went nowhere, gaining just 33 yards.

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
I get the sense that DA is starting to lose the locker room and the team morale is starting to dissolve in a way we haven't seen since pre-Haslett. Last year the team trusted DA out of consideration that Payton had left and that there wasn't much time to react. This year that benefit of the doubt is gone.

And since DA's contract is still top secret, if he even has one , speculations will continue to unfold. | |
