Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs

Carr is really bad.inaccurate, holds the ball too long and indecisive. Our line played better than usual today and we have too much speed and too many weapons to not be able to move the ball. We are going to waste the last good years of Jordan, Kamara, and Thomas at this rate. I’m ready to put in Winston at this point. The team loves him and he may just be able to give them a spark. If people want to defend Carr because of his injury fine, that’s just another reason Winston needs to be in there. Our defense isn’t as good as I thought. Tampa came up with a good game plan that kept them on the field all day and our offense didn’t give them any help. Today wouldn’t be such a big deal but pair it with two decent leads we blew and it’s worrisome.
At the end of the day we have the talent to win games, or at the very least look like a team that belongs in the NFL. The only place to point the finger is at the coaches. A statement needs to be made if Gail wants to continue to put a product on the market that makes money. I can handle losses if the game is entertaining but this team just isn’t fun to watch. Allen needs to go and I mean now. At the very least Pete.

Gotta hand it to Carmichael. I never thought a three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust passing game was possible. He pulled it off!

I heard the commentators on the Dallas-Pats game mention Belichek was looking for his 300th regular season win today; I've got a pretty good idea which team will provide it to him and when!

Tough game to watch today.

Seemed like a few times the offense got a rhythm, and then Carmicheal would switch to a predictable set of downs with Taysom Hill.

Several throws where Carr and receivers were on different pages.

Defense held strong as long as they could.

Overall it looked like there was no fire in this team

Dennis Allen steady harping on the defense...
Man this is too much to try and unravel when all he does is bump his gums.

They were scared to let Jameis make them look like an ass.

Only thing this dude needed to say tonight is “I’m sorry” and “I’m leaving”

Watching SNF (Jets/Chiefs) and Zach Wilson move the ball down the field and score but Carr can't.

Frustrating.

2.5 seconds the ball is GONE.

This is a good segment. Starting around 5:15, Nick pretty much outlines what the problem is offensively. Pete Carmichael.
