Re: DENNIS ALLEN…
Realistically anywhere from 0-4 wins could be reasonable for the rest of the season. The Lions are the only good team we play, and they are on a cold streak with people wondering if their QB is injured. The thing is, Dennis Allen has never been consistent as a head coach, nor Carr as a QB, so the scenario where we rack up 6 straight wins is very very unlikely. 6 straight losses if we fall apart is unlikely too, but probably not so much so, as that can always happen if a coach loses their team, and Carolina could get a spark from a coaching change. The most likely thing is that as an inconsistent team we stay inconsistent, and give 2 straight losses we are due to bounce back either against Detroit or at least against Carolina and perhaps the NYG. It would not be that surprising to see us beat Carolina, NYG, and one of the last two against Tampa and Atlanta. For remaining wins, I think the most likely scenarios in order are 3,2,1,4,0,5,6. Dennis Allen is a .250 - .500 coach. Its just who he is. Two losses in a row doesn't mean the sky is falling. Two wins in a row don't mean all the problems are solved. Boring mediocrity is his calling card.

Re: DENNIS ALLEN…
It pissed me off they still haven’t fired anybody…then they let JPP get snatched up. Fire Loomis too.

Loomis built a contender again this year and has given Dennis Allen everything he needed to win. I don't have a problem with the organization. It's the coaches they hired to regurgitate Sean Payton's tired scheme. JPP only played one game so he isn't a big loss. The problem is with the nepotism that has haunted us for some time. I understand that we are a family run team and not a cut throat corporation whose only reason to exist is for immediate profit. The hiring of Dennis Allen for continuity failed. So did keeping PC and hiring all bis old cronies or bringing back ex Saint coaches who failed elsewhere. Clean house in the drafting department but not the scouting the department because they can usually find our prototypes. Fire the coaches though! and I'm talking about position coaches, coordinators and especially that inept head coach! |
