They also tend to be young teams, not one of the oldest teams in the league with veterans in their 30s eating salary way above their onfield production. They tend to have some cap space and good draft picks. Not trading up and using a likely top 10 second round pick on a LT that can't get a start after nearly 2 years. |

Re: Clean house now
Chargers messed up ... they could have had Sean Payton.
Now look at em. Getting flat out embarassed on a national stage last night. Just last week, the Raaaydah's put up a whopping 3 points. Not at all surprised Staley is gone. That was bad. Brandon Staley and Dennis Allen are the same dudes. Look at the records. |

“Run it back” with this inept coaching staff for what? Firing Pete in the off season is the easy out. Saints issues are far greater than just the OC. |

Re: Clean house now
All it took was a wide margin of loss to a franchise with a long history of adjacent territory and competing for fans in the intermediate territory and greater historical success in past generations that is known for bringing big road crowds. The Raiders are essentially a franchise the Chargers envy in certain ways for their larger following in the same region. If there is a team like that for us, that we really don't want to be embarrassed by and worry about losing fans to, it could be the Cowboys who compete for a following in western Louisiana. We may see a game like this, but only if we make the playoffs, or next year.
