Kind of feeling envious of the Chargers today in that I wish we could get some of the national disdain for Allen that Staley is getting.

Chargers messed up ... they could have had Sean Payton.

Now look at em. Getting flat out embarassed on a national stage last night.

Just last week, the Raaaydah's put up a whopping 3 points. Not at all surprised Staley is gone. That was bad.

Brandon Staley and Dennis Allen are the same dudes. Look at the records.

Let’s hope (at least most of us here) the Saints front office aren't put into the position to make the same mistake the Chargers made last year, when they kept Brandon Staley despite the writing being clearly written on the wall.

“Run it back” with this inept coaching staff for what?

Firing Pete in the off season is the easy out. Saints issues are far greater than just the OC.

Chargers fire their coach after historic loss to Raiders and their rookie QB drafted right after Saints' "Pretty Boy" Haener.

All it took was a wide margin of loss to a franchise with a long history of adjacent territory and competing for fans in the intermediate territory and greater historical success in past generations that is known for bringing big road crowds. The Raiders are essentially a franchise the Chargers envy in certain ways for their larger following in the same region. If there is a team like that for us, that we really don't want to be embarrassed by and worry about losing fans to, it could be the Cowboys who compete for a following in western Louisiana. We may see a game like this, but only if we make the playoffs, or next year.

If only the Lions had of kept scoring at the same rate they were, maybe we'd have been as lucky as Chargers fans now are.
