Re: Clean house now

All it took was a wide margin of loss to a franchise with a long history of adjacent territory and competing for fans in the intermediate territory and greater historical success in past generations that is known for bringing big road crowds. The Raiders are essentially a franchise the Chargers envy in certain ways for their larger following in the same region. If there is a team like that for us, that we really don't want to be embarrassed by and worry about losing fans to, it could be the Cowboys who compete for a following in western Louisiana. We may see a game like this, but only if we make the playoffs, or next year.

Just looking at a cap calculator

It's pretty hilarious the state the teams in

If you traded the players below with a post June trade you will have cleared the defict they currently tly have and made a huge $3.4ml in clear cap to replace them

Michael Thomas,Lattimer,Ramczyk,Peat,Kamara and Davis

All while putting yourself 10ml over next year with dead money.

Pushing the cap worked on the back of having Brees and a young core. Now your seeing what happens when you keep coming up with duds in the draft. And wasting 35ml on a mediocre QB when you had soneone in house for a fraction of the cost or you ignore someone like Pickett in the draft.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Yeah I’d call that a bad business plan, IF the business is about winning football games.
