Must: OT, P
Need: OG, DT, LB, S (or bring back Abram) Want: K (Reichard), RB, QB (only if it's an absolute draft bargain), TE (only if Bowers falls in rd1 or we could get Texas Sanders in round 2) Find cheap: DE/edge (good history here with Gallete, Hendrickson, Granderson) WR (will be crazy depth in late rounds, UDFA) Thoughts: Give Haener a few seasons at QB2 if we don't draft a QB. Need to show some confidence in him and let him sink or swim else we're just wasting the picks used to get him. |

Matt Araiza deserves another shot. He's an absolute weapon on special teams.

If the Saints really intend on moving Lattimore, the first call I would make is to Chicago. Offer Lattimore and a 2nd round pick for Justin Fields. Fields still has a year left on his rookie deal, plus the 5th year option can be picked up. If he pans out then great, if not then no big deal.

When your toilet is clogged and the landlord is not going to send a plumber as quickly as your like, coming to grasps with it does not require pretending it doesnt stink or agreeing with the landlords delays.

Expensive used running qb is a terrible investment and we could not be ready to compete while he is still on a cheap deal.

Musts: OT(2), OG, and a DT to pair with Bresee
Needs: RB, TE, and slot CB Wants: Safety, LB, WR, DE, and punter. I like our Aussie punter! There are a lot of schools teaching the rugby kick because it is so difficult to field cleanly because of the way the ball spins. This kicking style has heavily limited the punt return yards and pins the opponents inside the twenty on a regular basis. One thing about Lou Hedley is that he doesn't outkick his coverage unit. He is at the bottom of the league for yards per punts though, and I could see another Aussie kicker brought into compete this offseason. I also wonder how many of Grupe's kicks were missed because of the holder not getting the placement right? I seriously doubt that Hedley is a very experienced holder and it could factor in to the misses. Incidentally, rugby players only hold for a kick at goal when the wind won't allow for a clean approach to the ball. USA rugby allowed it even before we introduced the kicking tee in the late 1950's. We could also use sand, saw dust, or dirt to prepare for the kick at goal. You also see a lot of drop kicks at goal which is a dynamic play to watch because they can happen from anywhere at the field. |

As for myself, my toilet is operating quite well, thank you. But, then again, perhaps the problem is that you are dropping so much crap that there isn't any plumbing system on Earth that can satisfy your personal needs. Ever consider changing your diet? |
