5 losing seasons in 12

Only 4 of the last 12 season has the team gained double digit wins.

The draft classes outside of maybe one or two have been average at best.
And all of that is better than almost every other franchise in the league over the same stretch of time.

It's that grass is greener syndrome. Most other franchise's fans would love to have had teams as competitive as ours to watch over the past two decades. I know for a fact they're the best twenty years I've seen as a whole than any of the other years of our existence. And I have been here living them since 1967.

But, then again, perhaps the problem is that you are dropping so much crap that there isn't any plumbing system on Earth that can satisfy your personal needs. Ever consider changing your diet?
Has Mickey Loomis ever considered cutting back on the booze? I will be content when he checks into Betty Ford and out of Airline Drive.

Maybe you two could share a room in some psychiatric facility. That would actually be funny. The one thing in the entire world that appears to totally envelope your consciousness being right there in the bed next to you. Do you have dreams about Mickey? The way every thread in the joint gets twisted into a forum for your hatred of the man is incredible. I can't see how he wouldn't live in your head even in your sleep. God I hope he's our GM forever.

I like our Aussie punter! There are a lot of schools teaching the rugby kick because it is so difficult to field cleanly because of the way the ball spins. This kicking style has heavily limited the punt return yards and pins the opponents inside the twenty on a regular basis. One thing about Lou Hedley is that he doesn't outkick his coverage unit. He is at the bottom of the league for yards per punts though, and I could see another Aussie kicker brought into compete this offseason.

I also wonder how many of Grupe's kicks were missed because of the holder not getting the placement right? I seriously doubt that Hedley is a very experienced holder and it could factor in to the misses.

Incidentally, rugby players only hold for a kick at goal when the wind won't allow for a clean approach to the ball. USA rugby allowed it even before we introduced the kicking tee in the late 1950's. We could also use sand, saw dust, or dirt to prepare for the kick at goal. You also see a lot of drop kicks at goal which is a dynamic play to watch because they can happen from anywhere at the field.
If the chance arises I would love to see us select LB Payton Wilson out of NCSU, the winner of this year's Chuck Bednarik award as the nation's best defensive player. Demario may only have three or four more years before he decides to hang them up and Wilson is the type of player that could take over those duties as a leader.

I've got to say I agree completely.
