We dont need to sign Kamara, he is under contract and will play. Loomis needs to stick to his guns.

Just because something is proportional does not mean it is fair. I would not consider half price for a single shoe a great deal. I would not want pay half Wembayans rookie salary and the #2 overall pick in the nba draft for a 3ft 8in center. Likewise, paying 18th highest salary for the 18th best qb is actually a bad deal. If your qb is mediocre, you want their salary to be practically free or you are losing. Paying 75% of Mahomes salary for a proven mediocrity and being able to spend the difference for Ram to watch Tv or Kamara to make 30th bday plans is never going to win a ring.

The Lions are a unique situation. Basically they are paying Bobby Hebert $50 million a year. They were irrelevent so long that being a decent playoff team is a revelation to them. They won their division maybe for the first time in franchise history. Goff is an average QB but with their situation he had all the leverage and since they were already winning now they could not risk a reset. The Saints are not doing anything very impressive with Carr and should not be as desperate to settle for mediocrity at QB.
^^^ Crystal Clear…

1. That is a deflection.
2. Thug - (noun) a violent, aggressive person, especially one who is a criminal. ("especially" does not denote a requirement).

Take all the thugs (violent and aggressive players) off the field and you may.. may.. be able to put 11 kickers on the field, providing they play both ways.. Which episode of The Twilight Zone do you live in? Football is a gladiator sport
I do not give two sh**s whether you like him or not, I don't know the man to like or dislike him. What I do know is that the league created and supports the situation where players do what he is doing. Don't like it... Go visit RG.

Chances are that I have socks older than you and while you were watching, I played.. Both sides and special teams so don't tell me about leaving it on the field.

Haters are going to hate, Oak, and trolls are going to troll. They show up for one reason and one reason alone and that's to fish for response. The trolls need fed to survive. They're totally full of crap from beginning to end.

uh... no. Facts are hard to dispute, especially for you. And if you believe what you posted, then don't respond. truth and facts hurt sometimes.

Re: ALVIN KAMARA posts cryptic messages on social media amid contract saga

Kamara's off the field issue is a negative but it is not an uncommon negative. Many NFL stars have off the field issues. Some repeat, some don't. A player with one issue is more likely to have another than one who doesn't and would be suspended more harshly if they did. But many stars have major off the field issues of one kind or another in pros or college: Adrian Peterson, Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt, Ray Rice, Ray Lewis, Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Tyrann Mathieu, Michael Vick, Plaxico Burress, etc. Some players come back and never have another issue, others have more issues that sometimes end their careers. So for availability, its just like an ACL injury or something, you dont know if it will re-occur or not. Its a risk, but one you sometimes have to live with. Because the Boy Scouts of America have never won an NFL game. Kamara ain't a boy scout, but he is a useful player. Just probably not more useful than players like Mixon or Mathieu or Davis who he wants a much bigger contract than because he thinks he is still comperable to McCafferey despite the last 2 years saying he isnt.

Well said... my point is the NFL should not tolerate violent crimes at all. Put a morality clause in it bylaws; not contract. and i have every right as a FAN to not root or promote such behavior. and, one strike and your out, no second chance, the victim of said crime gets none. simple
