They can rent Judon for a year and let him walk or if they win enough games he might want to stay for a discount. Adding somebody over 30 years old isn’t always an automatic negative. |

They still have to fit Judon in and their available cap for the top 51 on the roster is $139,567. That right, less than $140K and they still have to make room for two more players at the cut. They probably made the move on Judon after Simmons wouldn't deal. As things stand they haven't come to terms with Judon either.

Very much related to the subject of the thread. The Saints are by no means alone in the dire need for OT help. It is a league wide expanding crisis. There may not be anything available as an upgrade to even backups come the cut. We'll see.
