So at #9?

He’s not making it out of the first round.

Juwan doesn’t move the needle for me but oh well.

Yea it would have to be, unless they trade down and grab him later in the first. He’s not my top choice at 9 for sure tbh.
I think we should wait and grab Taylor or Arroyo at the top of the third if either one is there

So would having a good offensive line. I want trench warriors. I sure hope we don’t draft TE at #9. Trade down and get some dawgs.

We have the rookie from last year too, Holker.

He hasn't in the past but you have to think Kellen has seen enough on film to project a role for him.

Agreed. There’s trench guys throughout the draft that look good though, so if we go with a luxury pick for 9, it won’t be the worst thing. That being said, I’d love OL at 9 if we stay put. Booker or Banks would be solid there.
I also really like Jalon Walker with our first pic. I think he would be a great piece for our new 3-4 look. Plenty of solid o and d line players in rounds 2-4

Any updates on Taysom Hill?

He needs to take a pay cut or become a June 1st cut to save 10M.

Keeping him at his current number when he may not even play (injury recovery) this season is nuts.

Re: Saints 2025 Off-Season Roster Moves

Everything starts at the top, and the owner of the team must know what it takes to win, be willing to listen and not turn back when things get rough. Make no mistake about it: A coach or general manager who takes over a team that has won in the past can influence the current group by showcasing the franchise's previous glory as a model.

The quarterback -- The most important position on the field is the best place to start if a coach or GM wants to change the culture of a losing team. o really create long-term change, a coach and GM must fill the roster with good players who also are great men. It doesn't take too many personnel mistakes or bad apples in the locker room to drag a once-proud franchise to the bottom. The coach and, more importantly, the GM must be able to make the hard decision that appears cold on the surface but is the right thing to do in the long run. Cutting a player, firing a coach or dismissing a scout isn't easy, but the smart teams pull the trigger when necessary. The locker room is where teams can be made or dismantled. There's no fooling the players when there's a weak link in the locker room or a player interested in self-promotion over what's best for the team.

A bit of luck -- Every team needs some luck. Great preparation is more reliable than luck, but if something fortunate happens -- like getting a borderline call or an opponent missing an easy field-goal attempt -- it doesn't hurt.

"Your worst enemy, he reflected, was your own nervous system. At any moment the tension inside you was liable to translate itself into some visible symptom." Winston Smith
