Not at that pricetag and length of contract. Honestly, I really don't think Loomis lives in the same reality as everyone else in the NFL.

Truth.

See Philly. Fired then DC (Sean Desai) cut Darius Slay, traded Ceedy Deuce, allowed Josh Sweat to get over paid elsewhere. Even Sirianni was on the "hot seat" to start the 2024 season

GM Roseman & Lurie want results. No one is ever safe there.

Hopefully Coach Moore brings some of that mindset & philosophy to New Orleans. It's not gonna happen in 1 year though.

Just thinking here that given what Cam Jordan has been posting the idea that we would be moving to a 3-4 may not be a given. One would expect that Cam has at least spoken to Brandon Staley about his plans moving forward. Cam is clearly thinking the same 4-2-5 base that we've had recently. The retention of the players we had thus far supports that thinking. I'm hoping Staley makes the best use of what we have available instead of forcing them into a specific scheme

Jordan and the Saints agreed to a re-structured contract Wednesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

I love Cam Jordan but I'm ready for some fresh faces for the 2025 season.

My goodness. We've restructured everybody and their dog. Feels like Mickey is going to keep doing this until we're at a real breaking point with the cap, at which time he'll decide to retire.

Same bro. Love Cam. But seriously the defense wasn’t anything to write home about last year. Now we basically have the same guys and a few decent depth guys.

“Add in Isaiah Foskey….” As what Cam? The guy who will go get snacks at half time? Lol.

Tough to say that when we now know he took the Saints gig having to accept Carr as QB1.

I really think the players were not used to their strength's under the distracted Dennis Allen. I heard today that Staley does indeed to build the defense around the strengths of the players on the roster instead of trying to plug them into a specific scheme. That explains Cam's mention of a four man front as opposed to a 3-4 which many just assumed. Cam has also said he has indeed met with the staff. I for one believe Jordan has some gas left in the tank. The problem was that he was not in there, not by his choice, when those stat situations were at hand.
