No. Did you see Turner gashing the defense in the 3rd and 4th quarter? No. Did you see Williams and Stewart gashing the defense in the 3rd and 4th quarter? No. Did you see Brown and Williams gashing the defense in the 3rd and 4th quarter? No. And answer me this: why would a team who successfully runs the ball the entire game AND IS AHEAD in the scoreboard, why would that team abandon the run late in the game? |

it doesnt matter what they do in the 2nd half because they have effectively drained our defense by halftime it is not our defense that wins these games....it is our offense.....we cant continue to play like that the next couple games because we will lose |

Let's do baby steps here and start with the Dolphins.. So the Dolphins are 24-10 up at half time, 27-17 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, 34-24 at the start of the 4th quarter, and as you say they are running the ball effectively the entire game. If that is true, with that lead that late, why would they abandon the run? Don't you want to eat the clock, maybe score at least a field goal or two? |

The Saints are not going down big early in the game because the defense can't stop the run. The Saints are going down early in the game because the offense keeps turning the ball over and the other team gets short fields. |
