this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know it's not part of the draft per se, but what about signing Julius Peppers as a DE replacement/upgrade? We've lost players to other division teams over the years, would Peppers be worth pursuing?...

your right hilliard, how many times we let go free agents to carolina and they came back to bite us. m. fields, sam mills, jake delhomme. tommy barnhart, wesly walls theres more. lets get peppers in here and change his carreer around

Peppers is not that much of a upgrade. He will pull in bank this year and put us in a huge deth problem. I say start McCray and let Hargrove play both de and dt.
