How about this.
Instead of points for a field goal, The offense has the option to punt or try a field goal. If the kick is good you get a new set of downs, not good ball goes over. From the 10 yard line in You have to score a TD and go for 2 points.The kicker is still important to the game and a team can't win by a field goal. Both sides get to touch the ball. If each team scores and gets the 2 pt conversion it's sudden death after that. Just a thought. |
