Hoping for a little Psycho Killer on the D side myself.

Instead of us taking Cooper, think we could Parley the fifteen into a couple of decent picks so we're not stuck with an OG just in case? Of all the positions we need, OG is pretty far down the list.

Cooper would be traded onward before the 1st round was over if the Saints were to pick him with their 1st rounder - otherwise, picking him wouldn't really make any sense.

Former LSU tackle Chris Faulk took a pre-draft visit with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Sun. The Saints are still looking for help at tackle, so the visit isn't out of left field.
Faulk missed all of last year for the Tigers with a knee injury, but elected to enter the draft anyway. The 6-foot-6, 331-pound tackle is slated as a fifth-round prospect by NFLDraftScout.com.

I hope we take him in the mid rounds. Little risk with a good amount of upside.

with the idea of trading Ivory i have been looking at RB a bit more

Jonathan Franklin, RB, UCLA is a solid pick for the saints. he is another PT in my opion which is key. solid in the passing game and good at pass protection.

Brian Schwenke, C, Cal - is probably the best true OC that would not only fit the saints system but give the saints a mobile OC that can pull and get to the next level

Terry Hawthorne, CB, Illinois - is an interesting prospect that is climbing the boards. go back 2 years and you see more of his game than last year. like so many of the Illi players.

Bennie Logan DT LSU - but can he play NT?

Levine Toilolo, TE, Stanford - we talked about him

RB? I'd like to go UDFA this year to replace Ivory when traded...

We've got to find a way to use Ingram or trade him while he's got some value left...

Logan could play End for the Saints - only issue is he's always been in a rotation, what happens in the NFL when a man goes down and you don't have 80 suited up on Sunday?!?

Schwenke wouldn't be a bad pick...

Don't be surprised if he goes undrafted, unlikely, but as his injury lingers so does the possiblity of going undrafted...

the same dr that rebuilt drew and so many other sports stars Dr "what his name" put no red flags on Faulk playing this year and says he will be ready to go. granted our Dr need to do their thing but the guy is the guru. his clearance is basically the same thing as an act of god lol

i posted the web site earlier. so i think those 5th round and lower dreams have been flushed away

What are people's thought on Sheldon Richardson with our 1st.He was ranked that highly pre combine but has slipped down a bit since. If Hicks is to play minutes at NT some depth is needed at DE.
I'm unsure on all the OLB personally.I really like Jones and if the doctors say he is healthy then I'd pull the trigger. He may have a shorter career but who knows what the cap situation will be like after his rookie deal anyway.I don't care that his numbers don't look as good when in shorts, the guy is a football player.I still like Ogletree too.
