from round 1 to round 4. i have seen it on other sites too and the i lol because this year draft has the so called pro's all screwed up

now he has gone from pup to season IR? damn he is going to get screwed if that does not get cleared up asap
Notes of his injury has him from having a bad foot to his toe...

...My guess is that his injury probably was a Lisfranc - though recoverable, would render him ineffective for nearly a year - and his advisors have kept that information under the shelf so as not to affect his draft value...

Also read that Jarvis Jones does not have spinal stenosis as he was diagnosed by his doctors at USC...

That would effect where Jarvis Jones gets drafted as true...

...to me, Ogletree is the better linebacker with the highest ceiling...

...if the Saints are staying at 15, this is the best place to be to draft an impact defensive player and a linebacker at that...

...we missed and blew it not taking Clay Matthews - please don't let the Saints blow it again...

If Jarvis Jones has a clean bill of health do people want him or Mingo?.

Mingos numbers off the field look better and maybe if he bulks out and hits his ceiling he is the better player but looking at the onfield plays Jones just looks better to me.

Who reported that about Jarvis, his agent? Because I haven't heard anything, you would think that would've been on the news somewhere. If true that changes a lot.

I read the same thing somewhere... can't remember where, but Jones has been cleared and apparently he never had the spinal stenosis to begin with - misdiagnoses.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board

I read there isn't one single pass rusher in the entire NFL that ran a 4.9 or worse. Not a single one.

What do all of these players have in common with Jarvis Jones?
Nick Fairley
Antonio Coleman
Carlos Dunlap
Eric Norwood
Marcus Howard
Greg Hardy
Wallace Gilberry
Jamal Anderson
Derrick Harvey
Willie Evans
David Pollack

They all led the SEC in Sacks. Only a couple of those guys I'd consider among the NFL's best.

When he was at Southern Cal, the pass rusher was diagnosed with one, and Southern Cal did not allow him to play in 2010. Jones transferred to Georgia and played two seasons with no problems. Brigham concluded that Jones either had a very mild incident of spinal cord concussion or merely a stinger that has long since resolved. Even if another similar injury occurred, Brigham concluded it would not be a career ending issue. After recently examining Jones, Brigham concluded, “Jarvis is cleared to play without restriction.”

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board

Fifth Round: Cooper Taylor, S, Richmond

Taylor has all the tools to be a very good safety in this league for a long time, but just like Jones his medical condition (Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome) causes teams to pause. So that's why the Georgia Tech transfer was rated as a 7-FA before the draft process played out. That is about the time that Taylor started rising. He was cleared medically and proceeded to tear up workouts.

Measuring in at a 6' 5" and 238 lbs, he is massive for a defensive back. That big of a safety should not be running 4.55 in the 40-yard dash, but he does. His footwork and decisiveness are also some of the things that are going to make him a steal in the fifth round.

6'5 238lb safety running 4.55
My God,somebody created a monster
hagan714, ClintSaints and FinSaint like this.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!
