As far as injuries we seem to have a push this week with no net gain, loss after yesterday's win...
Great to see Foster finally get in there and show what he could do; good to see Walker back and have a solid game... Lance Moore has some kind of hand, wrist, forearm injury - want him back in the fold, but at least we're still relatively healthy at wide receiver... It's gonna be a long season and we need to get guys back, especially on defense... |

Biggest Injury Concern is David Hawthorne, who's been exceptional this season - he will be missed...
Defensive Line looks better than it's been in a while; glad to see Tyrunn Walker get back... Expect Marques Colston to sit and get healthy, heal up... Jahri Evans, our best lineman, sure is having a difficult time getting healthier...concerned for the long-term... Hope Sproles is healthy; was concerned for him; his wheel routes really gash defenses and open things up more than any other player on offense... Is this the week we see Terron Armstead?!? |

Quick Thoughts: The injuries to the 49ers DE's are huge; Justin Smith is one tough ombre, and I'm curious how much said injury (shoulder) affects his play...
Ray McDonald is a big part of setting up the LBers (Willis, Bowman, Brooks) to make plays... 49ers Guard, Iupati, likes to get to the second level for those big run plays, will he be affected and will this affect their running game?!? After watching Vacarro go down so easily, my first thoughts were "he came back too soon" and after the events this week, those who thought the same were were right...He's our future and has got to get right and we've got two great backups in Bush and Quddus... Josh Hill has a hell of an opportunity this week; I liked this kid since scouting for the draft and I think he just has to settle in and do his role in what we're doing - expect a nice surprise there... |
