Any and everytime Ingram gets a hole , I've seen him take off. Lord it's been a while since he's gotten a hole !

So to sum up what the nay sayers want , You want Ingram to get the ball , Break an Immediate tackle during the handoff exchange , Outrun the defenders in his face , Find some sort of non existent hole and gain 5 to 6 yards every play ? THIS AIN'T MADDEN !!!

And The Success of PT and Sproles is only a tribute to the Passing Game. Rushing wise they are too average at best.

Now if you wanted to attack Ingrams one dimensional talents , then I'd readily agree , he'd see less stacked boxes if he could do harm in the flats

Then how about Ivory, who was never a threat in the passing game and couldn't pick up a blitz to save his life. Any time he was in the game the other team knew it was a run, and yet he still managed well over 4.0 yards per carry.

Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?

Well he didn't practice on Wednesday. Which makes me look at that picture Oak posted, and now I actually DO think I see Ingram's TOE and FOOT getting all jammed up.

Not making excuses for him. But I'll tell you what, on page 23 of this thread, I'm starting to feel in my gut that if the toe thing is anything more than trivial, if there is ANYTHING to it at all, if it's anything more than stubbed....then this could be a perfect excuse to sit Ingram without "benching" him, and let somebody else take a shot. Saves face for everybody. Suit him up, but sideline him for a few weeks, put someone else out there, and if someone else gets a hot hand, you quietly inactivate Ingram and let him slip him into non-dressing oblivion.

I keep going back to the body language from Brees and Payton after that failed 4th down attempt. Haven't seen anything lke it recently. And for Payton to come right out like that and say it was his OWN fault, I think that means he won't let it happen again. Meaning he won't let HIMSELF (Payton) get himself into a situation where Ingram can fail him. That's what I think he's really saying.

LOL, you're just going off the rails. If you aren't interested in rational opinions then go hang out with your Mark Ingram fan club and talk about how unfair it all is.

The very fact that there is a discussion at all portends to some kind of issue with the way Ingram runs in this Saints offense. Where there is smoke.... as they say!

Holy snap that brisket looks amazing. I'm not sure whether I want to eat it or have sex with it.
