this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think Defenses are learning how to play against Brees. Since he's undertall (wont use the "s" word on him) amd since he doesnt run, it's better to just push up the middle, clog up the passing lanes and contain ...

Since he's undertall (wont use the "s" word on him) amd since he doesnt run, it's better to just push up the middle, clog up the passing lanes and contain him. I noticed several plays where we rolled him out the pocket. Redskins effectively used a controlled dropback/rollout when Theismann played.
