I'm guessing not, for exactly this reason. If they come out and give the refs an F, or even a D, for this game then all hell would break loose and the NFL would give themselves a problem they can't really fix. And chances are that would happen at least once or twice a month. It would be too much of a distraction from the game.

No doubt the refs handed this one to the home team. I thought the Pats did an excellent job with their defensive calls. But look, unless I know more about the rules than the refs, they cooked it for the Pats. That offside penalty (which should have been the correct call) baked the cake. That was like watching the bad actors on some of these "reality" shows. Obvious to the point of nausea.

We have 10 games left, and I don't see more than 3 or 4 losses. We'll finish 11-5, maybe 12-4 if we get a few bounces our way. We'll finish 15-1 if we get the same kind of favoritism New England got yesterday. |
