this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That's that same defense that shut down the eagles ( top 5 offense ) in Philly ... As I've said all along we had no right to call him and Reggie busts without analyzing their blocking upfront. None whatsoever ! ...

That's that same defense that shut down the eagles ( top 5 offense ) in Philly ... As I've said all along we had no right to call him and Reggie busts without analyzing their blocking upfront. None whatsoever ! Sean Payton is still sick about bush leaving and he's not letting another heisman back go down the drain ... He runs violent and fast and I've never seen him go down on the first hit ... Give him a lane and watch out ! I break down game film often and it was very apparent the blocking he got Sunday was worlds better than any other game. PT and Sproles got the same blocks and didn't look quite as impressive , dare I say he looked Adrian Petersonish ?
If we block for him there is no team that can compete ... None |

Ingram still sucks…
Even Lawrence Phillips had a good game once… once. |

Plain and simple
Line Creates Holes > Backs go Ape > Passing game gets a boost > We Score 50+ > dominate top > defense is on the field less > we win the Lombardi |

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
Only thing I will point out is earlier in the year when KRob ran well against a dolphins D some people brought up that their D was worn down but others didn't want to hear that but when Ingram runs well it's a worn down cowboy defense. One other point is Ingram had a better game against Dallas than AP did the previous week and no I'm not saying Ingram is even equal to AP, just pointing out that he had a better game against the same terrible dallas D.

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
I want to believe last night was not a magic show but my eyes tell me that if it happens again this week, or anything remotely close to it, Benson put David Copperfield on retainer. His next performance isn't until 21NOV at the MGM Grand so we could in fact be in for a special treat!

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
Trade him now!
His Value Will Never Be Higher! Seriously, glad to see him FINALLY have a decent game for the trade and first round package spent to obtain his contractual rights, but... Dallas didn't have their starting inside tackles and lost their middle linebacker... The question is, can he finish through the season, post-season with games like this? That's the challenge before him, and though he's been a bust for the Saints, as a Saints fan... I would be happy in his success because it would be success for the Team... And I'm on record as saying that the DECISION to draft him was a bad one, not that he's a bad player or man... So you SENSITIVE Bama-types can relax and geaux back to your drunken orgy post-LSU whoopin party... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
MI had a good game and I am happy for him. I think SP is extremely smart and trying to build confidence in him knew this was the perfect opportunity because of how bad the Dallas D is.
I hope Mark continues this. I hope he becomes a regular contributor for us and that his best days are ahead. All of that said- IT WAS ONE GAME!!! Let's wait until he produces regularly before we start popping off on those that have complained for what has been the staple of his career until this point. I am tempering expectations, but very hopeful this is just the beginning. |
Your team stinks
