If Payton didn't trust him, he wouldn't have been on the field. There are plenty of other options... We have 5 other backs capable of running the ball more and covering Ingrams 10-15 carries per game.

What Sean Payton Said was: That is not distrust, its identifying something before it becomes a problem.
“Now, the ball came out on a play,” Payton said. “I thought he handled the opportunities outstanding. But the ball security for a young player of understanding how difficult it is in our league is something we will continue to work on.

“But to answer the question, he’s been explosive. He’s been tough. He’s been hard-nosed. And we will continue to look at his snaps and evaluate how he fits in each game plan.”

2013
Robinson 1ish fumbles
Pierre Thomas - 2
Darren Sproles - 2
Drew Brees - 2

2012
Marques Colston - 4
Cadet -1
Graham -1
Collins -1

2011
Thomas - 2
Ingram -1
Sproles -1
graham -1
Colston -1

2010
Brees - 9! LOL
Ivory -4

2009 -
Brees 9!

I get it... You are a fan of Ingram... But dont try to paint a player with a bad brush that obviously has no where near any case of fumbleaitus, nor has lost the trust of Sean Payton.

Didnt say i was a fan of ingram just said he had a good game, and in my opinion i feel KR doesnt handle the ball like a pro, and your pulling up stats on players fumbling when hes only actually played one full game and that one game he had a 1ish fumble the other game he played like 4 snaps. which doesnt mean hes a bad player its something he can be better at, and the reason i threw the stats in there about PT is because i think KR is more similar to PT than Ingram as a RB. In my personal opinion i think PT is better than ingram, just ingram put up more numbers that game. And your comment about sean lee making the difference is some what true but thats like saying that PT wassnt in the game at all after lee got out, its prolly just because they play PT and ingram in different formations and the formation ingram was in had the better blocking. PT had nice runs even at the beggining of the game when lee was in so that made up a good bit of his yardage if i remember correctly. I understand what your saying i may not be 100% accurate on everything im saying, just my take on things so chill out bro

Only Actually played in 1 game?

Oh, ok... You are going off of snap count.. were you guessing? I would say Robinson had 3 full games, Miami, New England, Buffalo

K. Robinson
4,12,3,7,7 - Total 33
Khiry Robinson Game By Game Stats and Performance - New Orleans Saints - ESPN
Mark Ingram
9,8,4,14- total 35
Mark Ingram Game By Game Stats and Performance - New Orleans Saints - ESPN

There is nothing to chill out... I am just rebutting inaccuracies.

Ingram reflects

After rushing for a career-high 145 yards on just 14 carries in Sunday’s 49-17 romp against the Dallas Cowboys, Saints running back Mark Ingram admitted Wednesday that he played with more emotion than usual.

Maybe too much, he said.

Ingram, who missed five games with a toe injury and had 50 rushing yards in the three games he played, celebrated a 13-yard run in the second quarter by spinning the ball on the ground — drawing a 5-yard delay of game penalty.

“I always play with a lot of emotion, with a chip on my shoulder, but it just came out a little bit more Sunday,” he said. “The reason? Who knows? I was just feeling it, man, and it just came out.

“That’s how I play, with a lot of emotion and a lot of passion, and I just have to control it a little better so I don’t hurt the team and get us penalties or anything like that. I guess it did come out a little more than usual.”
Looks like he knew he went a little over the top with his emotions Sunday

That little ball spin he did was BS, should not have been a flag at all, nor did it cause a delay of game.

It's the new rule. Silly or not, he should know better.

He did more than that stupid ball spin, sure looked like he acted like he won the lottery after every 2 yard gain he had that night

Honestly, I'm not sure if I could contain my excitement in that situation. He's been called a bust by a lot of "fans" and was booed in that very game. I'd be in a hurry to prove myself to the fans and if I was on fire, I might've gotten carried away too.

I don't excuse his behavior but I understand why he was so animated in the game.
