Good on MI for having a great game last night.

There was 1 thing that I noticed, that I "think" was different.

Most of Ingram's good/big runs came when he was running behind Collins. I don't recall a lot of Ingram's previous runs being with a FB in front.

Now granted, due to my location I don't really get to watch a lot of Saints games, so I may be completely off base.

I've seen them all so it's important to note if you only saw last nights game Collins is great. If you saw all the rest your wondering as I do why we are one of the few teams with a FB.

It seems as though we ran less zone blocking, or perhaps none at all. Ill give props to Mark Ingram as it is due to him, but as others have said 1 good performance in 3 years doesn't take you off the bust list.

Props to the o-line play.

Good game from Ingram, now lets see more of that.

He looked great but he needs to do it over a extended period before I am willing to say he is not a bust.

Yup...Collins didn't have nearly as many blocking "WHIFF!"s last night than in previous games. This made a significant difference, even before Lee went out with the hammy. The boy has simply looked lost on who to block previously, but he got it together last night instead of taking up roster space. He must have finally cracked open the play book and paid attention in the meetings.

I didnt notice the blocking scheme... Someone with a better grasp of Xs and Os would have to rewatch the game with that in mind... If so thats another huge ordeal as we have changed blocking schemes and the ground game would be back for good... More so than chalking it up to the Cowgirls paltry defense.

I've been critical, but only what he deserved. I have nothing against the guy and hope he rocks it out every week like this.

Kudos to the o-line blowing open the holes. Even-though Dallas was injured, that's part of the game and we had no mercy. A great performance. Congrats to Mark Ingram for showing his desire to get back into the fold!

WE APPRECIATE YOU MI! WHO DAT!!

One game did not impress this naysayer. I still think he is not right here. That being said I am extrememly happy for him and he deserved this game. I was very pissed our fans started booing him after that first carry, but maybe thats what he needed. Afterwards he balled out. His problems arent for lack of trying. I just don't think he fits with this offense. Everyone was running well yesterday, and the Oline was making holes. Ingram can run just like anyone else through an open hole but hell even I can. Its getting those tough yards and creating plays where there isnt one that separates the real backs.

Game ball goes to him IMO

He ran great and I'm thrilled with that, but he still looks top-heavy to me. That high center of gravity makes him too easy to bring down.

I take back all the mean things I said about him...for now. Let's see if he can keep it up next week against the 49ers. I will say, that I was impressed with the OLine for creating blocks for all of our RBs last night. Let's see if they can keep it up as well.
