Bashaud Breeland please just say no, kid needs serious coaching and that on fundamentals and attitude in run support is timid to say the least. ceiling is not that high for a kid with a low floor to begin with.

Weston Richburg in round 3 would be a steal

R6 Cornelius Lucas OT Kansas is an interesting long term project. he has a mean streak to him and from reports he is a hard worker. foot injury needs an eval. 36 3/4" arms? dam talk about a wing span at 6'8. "work in progress" for his entire career is my favorite quote on the kid. at 6-8 he maybe one of those kids that were still growing in college and just now is getting use to to his body.

the rest all i can say drafttek geshhh but they due have the best trade chart on the net

pass on lack of talent, injury or just major reach factor

Anyone remember how many of our draftees we visited with last year? It seems to me we only visited with about half of them. But hell, I have trouble remembering where I put my glasses...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

I wonder how'd they'd (Jets fans) react if the Jets had taken Erxleban in the first?!?

Not sure they've had it as bad as we did those first forty years...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Aaron Murray (ACL) threw 52-of-54 catchable balls at Georgia’s pro day on Wednesday, but NFL.com's Gil Brandt noted that "toward the end of the workout it appeared as if his arm got tired."

Murray's surgically-repaired knee "looked stable" in front of reps from 20 NFL teams. Included in that bunch were the QB coaches from the Cowboys, Jaguars, Chiefs, Saints and Rams. Interestingly, Jacksonville also sent its head coach (Gus Bradley) and general manager (David Caldwell), while St. Louis dispatched director of player personnel Taylor Morton. Brandt did clarify that, despite the fatigue, Murray looked good. "He’s a not-get-too-high or not-get-too-low type of player," the analyst wrote. "If there’s a run on quarterbacks in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, he could wind up being selected in that round."

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

I'd rather have Jordan Matthews, Donte Moncrief or Martavis Bryant in the second round - but I can see Payton taking Eastern Illinois Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round - if he lasted that long...

Actually like Aaron Murray and he's the reason I DON'T trust Mettenberger as he beat him out at Georgia...

In truth, see the Saints picking prospects I'm not as high on; there's prospects I like better than they may take; and I'm hoping for a situation like last year with the injuries in that other teams' moves, selections force their hand and they end up with the best player for the team...

Last year Saints FO nailed it in the draft, until the last pick at least; this season, I'm hoping for smoke screens and that they take Attaochu and wait for a guy like Aikens in the fourth-fifth round...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Wow, you are actually changing your toon on the Vacarro pick. Nice.

Here's the thing, I didn't dislike Vacarro, I just liked Ogletree more...

But his selection hastened Roman Harper out of here and we got a premium player at a shallow position; have said as much...

But the entire draft with maybe the exception of taking Rufus Johnson, a clear 43 Right Defense End baffled me when we clearly had need for linebackers and offensive line depth last season as well as the present...
