2014 NFL Draft

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Seer, you were closer than you think... The South Louisiana Settlers known as Acadians, or Cajuns, were previous French Settlers of Nova Scotia (Canada)... So there are very strong ties there... This should help... There was a great documentary about it on PBS a few years back.

Actually, I know it's not but it's more fun to say it that way.
Etymology

Canada... First nations word Kanata meaning Settlement, Village.

Acadians were people from Nova Scotia > Cajun is an alteration of Acadian

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Actually looked at his list - for a New York guy, he definitely knows the needs of other teams unlike the media types blogs mocks from his town...

Then he geauxs and shows Detroit selecting Justin Miller (Justin Gilbert) - Oy vey! Jets Fan!

Atlanta has to take a tackle to protect Ryan and utilize those passing game weapons...

Khalil Mack will be dangerously near ATL spot...

Maybe we geaux all in for Khalil Mack?!?

Mack is the only guy I'd like more than Attaochu, as impractical as it'd be...

I don't know. We had a good D last year and have already made it better. I'm thinking our success this year is going to be based on the play of our OL and place kicker and that's where our focus ought to be.

BPA all the way this year. only one area of major concern and that is OC .

all the other area of depth concerns should have options opened to us in multi rounds. we are sitting pretty

If you're not growing, adapting - you're dying!

We need to add younger, fresher linebackers so we can put new wrinkles in our schemes so we don't become predictable on defense - sound familiar?!?

On offense, definitely need depth on the line, wide receiver and maybe running back...

BPA, trade the lesser talent to address other needs...

+1. I would like to see us draft a LB early on. Of all of the positions on D, linebacker appears to be the weakest link of the bunch in my mind. There will be a few big nasties still available by rd 3, 4.
