that is how i got away with all my testing in my youth. drink the night before, two gallons of water before bed, a pot of coffee and too top it off a gallon of water as i walked in the door. all to fill up one tiny cup in the end. granted that pee usually took a half hour to complete the task

super hydrate yourself baby and get that pay check.

There were more red-flagged drug tests at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine than any in recent years.
FOX Sports has learned that more than 10 players were identified to NFL teams as either testing positive for drugs or having a diluted sample in February.
The top prospect on the list was Florida State defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan, who is projected as a mid first-round selection. Jernigan tested positive for a diluted urine sample, FOX Sports has learned. Another big name was Louisiana State quarterback Zach Mettenberger. ProFootballTalk.com first reported that Mettenberger tested positive for having a diluted urine sample, which would count as a failed test under the NFL'€™s drug program.
Among the other notable players who were listed to NFL teams as having failed Combine drug tests in February were LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, University of Miami tackle Seantrel Henderson, and Florida State linebackers Telvin Smith and Christian Jones.

blah blah blah

Smith'€™s agent Adisa Bakari declined comment to FOX Sports. In a written statement to FOX Sports, Johnson'€™s agent Jeff Guerriero said, "We have not been contacted nor has the player. No NFL team has commented on the alleged incident to us. We have no knowledge of the alleged incident."
Jones'€™ agent Graylan Crain didn'€™t respond to a FOX Sports inquiry seeking comment.
ESPN first reported Monday that Henderson tested positive for marijuana. Henderson has previously admitted to smoking pot while at Miami.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

He is a big boy for a SS.
Just reading NFL write up. Doesn't make much sense in places, not a great tackler and gets bullied. Id say causing 8 forced fumbles shows he hits hard and often on the arms, elbow or the ball.

Jonathan Dowling*(SS)

HT:*6'3"*WT:*190LBS.

POSITION:*SS

SCHOOL:*Western Kentucky

ARM LENGTH:*33 1/8"

HANDS:*9 1/4"

Overview

Was rated as one of the top safeties in the country as a Florida prep. During his senior season, he had 14 interceptions (returning two for touchdowns) and three blocked punts. Also lettered in track. Began his college career at Florida, seeing action in two games as a true freshman in 2010. In November, though, he was kicked off the team in-season by coach Urban Meyer for reportedly not complying with staff and coaches as well as skipping class. Sat out in 2011, transferring to Western Kentucky. Returned to the field in 2012 and immediately made his presence felt, recording 68 tackles, seven pass breakups and six interceptions with 2.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in 12 games (11 starts) at free safety. Scored on a 39-yard interception return against North Texas. Was suspended one game for a hit classified as "flagrant and dangerous," which had earned him an ejection. Started 12 games and had 67 tackles, seven pass breakups and three interceptions with one tackle for loss and an NCAA-leading six forced fumbles in 2013. Returned a blocked field goal 70 yards for a touchdown against Morgan State.

COMBINE STATS40 YARD DASH:*4.52 SECBENCH PRESS:*8 REPSVERTICAL JUMP:*33.5 INCHBROAD JUMP:*118.0 INCH3 CONE DRILL:*7.04 SEC20 YARD SHUTTLE:*4.24 SEC60 YARD SHUTTLE:*11.56 SEC

ANALYSISStrengths

Has a rangy frame with room for added bulk. Excellent height and long arms to contend in the air and play the pocket. Good hands to snatch interceptions. Nice linear fluidity. Covers ground with long strides -- rangy off the hash to get over the top. Flashes striking ability when his shoulder blows connect. Playmaking ability -- 9 INTs and 8 FFs in last two seasons. Has special-teams experience covering kicks.

Weaknesses

High-cut and lanky for a safety -- durability could be an issue and he needs to add body armor. Gets bullied in the box. Average eyes and instincts. Takes some inaccurate angles. Shoddy tackler with poor fundamentals -- hits too high, ankle-bites low or launches himself and whiffs. Talks too much and shows off-putting body language. Questionable mental toughness. Thinks he’s better than he is. Character, maturity and coachability should be looked into.

Draft Projection

Rounds 4-5

Bottom Line

Lean, long-levered, smooth-muscled, finesse free safety with speed and range, though he's more interested in hitting than securing tackles. He does not provide dependability desired on the back end.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Haven't we had enough of shoulder tacklers yet?

My argument against that is the one presented to me by Oak, I believe. You bet the house on the player who can immediately come in and give you three or four more wins in that first season. I have to say that if that description doesn't fall squarely on the toe of a kicker, nothing does. We always remember that last second FG that was either made or missed, but it goes much farther than that. What about the FG that was missed early on in the game that would've made the difference between needing seven or three in the final minutes? It happens a lot. With the exception of our O Line, we are in really good shape with the players returning from injuries and our FA acquisitions. Especially on defense. The one glaring hole, that missing premier player is our place kicker. Why would we want someone mediocre to fill that slot? It'd be like drafting another shoulder tackler.

; Your story isn't over yet ;

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

the kicking game does worry me. i watched more on the kid from Rice. line drive kicker. NFL DL will eat him up unless he corrected it.

still trying to get more on the kid from tulane.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

here is one for you TE/HB/ST/LB

TE BLAKE ANNEN CINCINNATI
Height 6041
Weight 241
Arm Length 33"
Hands 9 7/8"
40 4.41
20 2.52
10 1.61
cones 7.19
shuttle 4.30
Vert 34
Broad 10'00"
Bench 25

Scrappy in-line blocker -- gets in the way. Possesses the vertical speed to stretch the field. loaded with upside and possesses raw, moldable traits to become a solid NFL contributor in a "move" role.

Does not play to timed speed. Lacks polish

one years starter.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

I just read that players get to choose their own 'walk out' music for when they're picked this year. I don't know if that's cool or absurd. Definitely gonna make it even more of a circus that's for sure.
