On Super Bowl trip, the Saints unearthed a gem named Jimmy Graham | Saints | The Advocate — Baton Rouge, LA

Excerpt: It was Graham’s coaches at the University of Miami who mentioned his name when the Saints asked them which Hurricanes player was most ready to perform at the pro level, even though he had played only one season of college football — as a backup. A little more than two months later, the Saints used a third-round draft pick, the 95th overall, to acquire Graham. Four years later, he was an Associated Press first-team All-Pro for the first time.

And this would reinforce the story in the previous post...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Great point JP. I heard Attachou on NFL radio this weekend discussing why he's so NFL ready. His college coach was an NFL coach who taught him how to study and prepare. I think this type of insight is often overlooked by the talking heads as many of us.

That's a kid worth trading up for!

I have to say... If i was ranking DB in general, not just CB, that would basically mirror my ranking or come damn near close. And dontae would be there as a versatile cb/s DB.

Reports are out Cooks may not be available at our pick. I do not want a wide receiver that we have to hope on, we need a sure thing. I'm hoping for Cooks, Verret, Denard, or Ford.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

The thing to remember in this year's draft is that there are some great CB prospects that'll be available later in the draft and that with the guys we've already got in Keenan Lewis, Champ Bailey, Patrick Robinson and Corey White we can afford to wait to take a cornerback late in the draft that can be developed...which is why I like either Walt Aikens in the third-fourth round or Aaron Colvin in the fifth round...

Another guy who surprised scouts who were at the Towson U Pro Day to see RB Terrance West got the bonus plan and were introduced to DB JORDAN LOVE - I'll let you read about the guy...

Nice. I'd love(no pun intended) to add another name to my list. Let me check out some film.
