Was that Lee? God no! Luckily he's expected to go before we pick.

Need to answer the following questions do we have a RT to replace Strief? his contract is very friendly and almost guarantees he retires a saints but age is an issue, can we have him be the #1 back up at both tackle spots later down the line. We all know about OC and that will be answered in 7 days. If PT goes down who is going to take over his roll? i do not see a pass blocker on the roster after PT. that is an issue nice thing needs truly are taking a back seat to BPA this year. |

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Really depends on if you feel Drews best days are gone.
What offers better value Bridgewater/Manziel sitting this year, possibly next year and trading Brees and taking a dead money hit(would open alot of cap space) or do you restructure Drews contract and get another 3/4 years out of him and hope a franchise QB will be in the draft come 2017/18 |

The only reason I'm saying this is because I don't think we have a huge pressing need on our team. None of our starters are so bad that they need to be replaced pronto, so we can afford taking a QB if we really want to in my opinion. I'm not saying we should take a QB, but if there was ever a year where we don't really "need" our first rounder and could spend it on another position like QB, it is this year. |
