The way I understand it is we have tagged him.

Another team can negotiate a long-term deal with him.

We can either match that deal, or receive that teams next two 1st round picks.

The Rams and Browns have multiple 1st round picks this year, but they already have good TE's.

If we take less than two ones, it'd depend where the second party team is selecting...

I'd want a R1, R2 pick this season and a R2 pick next season...

...and none of this conditional crawfish crap, you want him, then make it happen...

...and if it's either of the NYJ or NYG, pour it on 'em...

We've had a good trade history with Miami and Jimmy might want to return to his Alma Mater Town...

Brown's Jordan Cameron is right below Graham.

Ram's Jared Cook gets his when no one is watching him...

So Graham to the Rams would be interesting...

I'd love to see Graham's face if Buffalo tendered an offer...

Don't underestimate the Falcons; wouldn't be surprised to see the dirty birds wait, post draft, then make a move for Graham; but the teams are lining up, and they'll want Graham in their fold before they draft...

I think if a team waits until post draft we would get not only two first round draft picks but a 3rd round comp pick as well.

Gives us 3 1st round picks ... Reminds me of the cowboys trading tony Dorset for what would eventually be Aikman Smith and Irvin

Would have to look at the CBA on that one...

Re: Jimmy Graham Contract

Best candidate for both parties if Jimmy departs is Miami...

They'd gain an impact player on offense that their young QB could trust...

Jimmy would be back in his familiar college hometown...

Saints would gain to valuable picks in the middle of the first round...

We'd have some cap room to get Mack and maybe a couple of role players on both sides of the ball...

ChrisXVI likes this.

Re: Jimmy Graham Contract

I've read no where that we get any choice in the draft picks we receive, it's 2 first and they have to be that teams "original picks".

Meaning we get one each in a two year span.
