Re: It's become very apparent
I don't care for Richard Sherman's post game rant or his behavior in general .He is a outstanding CB. Both safeties are outstanding. If we could model our D backfield I would love to have another good young FS to pair with Vaccaro. And a bookend playmaker CB to pair with K.Lewis. While we re at a OLB passrusher and a.nother good DE . Top it off with a road grader RT AND better C . The cherry on top would be a WR that also was a threat as a KR.

I agree that Seattle and SF look like the teams to beat for the next few years, but we aren't far off. IT is going to start with fixing our offensive line and adding a WR who can stretch. Brees was not near as accurate this year because our line gave him absolutely no time in the pocket and he was running for his life and we got to see how good our receivers really are. Brees, when he is protected, makes our receivers look better than they actually are. Don't get me wrong we have good receivers, but no where near great. This is why it kills me when Falcons fans try and say that Ryan is better than Drew. We saw what happened to Ryan this year when he didn't have elite receivers to throw too. If Brees had Julio and White it wouldn't even be fair. We draft an early round WR and draft Online and DB with a couple decent free agents sprinkled in and we can be right back at the top. |

They have Sherman, we have Graham. Every team has their strengths.

Suit yourself. Our supposedly top tier offense did not score a single point for three whole quarters. Our elite tight end was completely manhandled and neutralized. We fumbled the ball on our own 20, with no one even touching the guy who fumbled, Marshawn went Beastmode on us AGAIN for a TD, our punter bobbled the ball like a kid in pee wee and kicked a 19 yard punt, and you weren't embarrassed? Like I said, suit yourself.

Re: It's become very apparent
Yes, because their division was straight garbage. This team with this defense could have easily gone 8-8 with McCown at QB, especially considering how ineffective Brees/offense were down the stretch.

This team needs upgrade at least four key positions......assuming Armstread is the answer at LT. We need another impact corner and safety this season as well right now! No, we are not the same team of destiny. But we can be again with the right moves. We are an 11-5 team. If we want to play better we need to replace a few starters with fresh talented meat and speed. No, we are not an elite team.....but we are damn well rounded with a ton of potential. |
