But is it ROT we need more than C or G? |

Re: 2015 draft??
My first 3 rounds:
1. Vic Beasley 2. Denzel Perryman 3. John Miller (G) O-line heavy draft would include Donovan Smith in 5th and Adam Shead in 6th (if he is there) |

Re: 2015 draft??
Shelton or Scherff falling through the cracks is possible. slim but possible. if they do and the saints do not make the pick i will be drinking heavy again this year during the draft.
La'el Collins still appeals to me. cap wise in two years with the ability to slide to guard. PJ did a good sales job on the kid. then you got the Jr wonders Eddie Goldman Malcom Brown Ereck Flowers heck i could walk away from the draft happy with La'el Collins - JP sold me on him Reese Dismukes - Danno sold me on him Cedric Ogbuehi - come on there in 3rd on IR gotta do it Donovan Smith - solid developmental prospect as any in the draft 2015 line up LT Terron Armstead LG Ben Grubbs - La'el Collins OC Reese Dismukes RG Jahri Evans RT Zach Strief - La'el Collins IR Cedric Ogbuehi OC/OG Tim Lelito and RT/LT Donovan Smith are the depth. 2016 line up LT Terron Armstead LG La'el Collins OC Reese Dismukes RG Jahri Evans RT Cedric Ogbuehi OC/OG Tim Lelito and RT/LT Donovan Smith are the depth. Zach Strief becomes your player coach and mentor can/If Litto do RG in 2016? |

Re: 2015 draft??
Shelton or Scherff falling to us with Shaq on the board would be tough...
But I really believe Shaq would have more inpact because we currently or getting, little to nothing from that position and because he's versatile... Like Shelton...Love Scherff But the impact of a Shaq Thompson would be humongous... We get an outside linebacker who can sack and create turnovers...it's an element we really haven't had but one or two seasons since 'them'... |

Re: 2015 draft??
tell ya what give me my draft in 2015 and you get the rest and all the defensive FA you can sign.
In 2016 the draft is all yours, defense that is. as well as more FA signings. only add a piece or two in 2016 for the offense i like Shaq Thompson. i would bounce him between OLB and SS all day long. though i am leaning to SS. cut the field in half and let him run wild. SS is where started at. then move kenny all around to do his thing. still do not see a true SS skill set in kenny game. never did |

Re: 2015 draft??
I'm not so sure Kenny Vaccaro isn't a Free Safety; either way, seems that Rob may have made things way too complicated; too much if this, then that; not allowing him to just make a judgement then react which would allow him 'to play faster'...

NFL Draft | Teams With Most Successful Drafts
Was still surprised at the disparity we've had as the team in the league with the fewest draft picks these past few years... |

Re: 2015 draft??
My most recent draft from Fanspeak
Round 1: Shaq Thompson - OLB - Washington - Does he fit into a 3-4 defense? Not really. But he's a good football player at a position we need an infusion of talent, and he can add some weight and be that edge guy for us.... hopefully Round 2: Denzel Perrymen - ILB - Miami -arguably the best ILB in the draft. Good feet, active hands, agile, uses leverage and fast enough to play in coverage. May not have the idlea "height" tho Round 3: Reese Dismukes - C - Auburn -Rimington award winner and overall quality center. If he beats out Lelito, then Lelito can play guard and backup the center position Round 4: Steven Nelson - CB - Oregon State - Good instincts, fast, tough and plays with a chip on his shoulder like he's the biggest guy on the field. We need toughness and a punishing attitude in our secondary like Seattle. He also had 3 passes deflected in the senior bowl Round 5: Shaquille Mason - G - Georgia Tech - comes from a zone blocking scheme but was dominant at the Senior Bowl during the week. If he pans out, the center of the Oline could be Lelito, Dismukes and Mason in the future Round 6: Stephone Anthony - ILB - Clemson -fell to the 6th round in my Fanspeak draft and grabbed him up. He gets the job done. Perrymen and Anthony as our future MLBs? Round 7: John Crockett - RB - North Dakota State -small school back who racked up 2000+ rushing yards and had 30 receptions. Played in the East-West Shrine game. Good vision, good hands, multi purpose back. And in round 7, can't complain with a potential sleeper |

To me he is all or nothing and to draft him and he fail would set the D back badly.
