Cajun,

You know that isn't true. Cmon man, there were some good picks made. This isn't Reprish and company in the draft room selecting duds :dunce:.

I dont get drafting safeties so high. You could have Ronnie Lott & the
'89 49ers secondary, but w/o a strong front 7, it does no good.

Conversely, you a strong front 7, can turn an average secondary into ball hawks.
Unless you can get a shutdown corner, secondary, to me, is.. secondary.

I want LBs

I do think we have our best group of LBs since 2009.

Hell the might be better then that group.

We didn't draft a ridiculous project in the second like SJB, we didn't waste a high draft pick on a WTF, I mean QB so I'm pretty okay. No gnawing on my computer or anything. We did okay in the free agency. We have new blood on the defensive coaching side. Hopefully that will change things from a crew that couldn't develop a digital picture on a computer. Same O and an okay D means...

say it with me now...

Championship!

Best draft since 2015.

Quality > Quantity.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this move myself. The silly oh he mailed me tapes was sweet does not fly. he mailed them over night to make millions . sounds like a solid investment plan. Sorry SP he mailed them to all 32 teams on the same day. you got spammed.

Like I said before we picked the best DT, WR and Safety in the draft another DT, another 2 WR's, Lasco at RB, Turner, another tackle and several centers and guards for the O-Line and throw in the LB special teamer from Bama and I think we had a ROCK SOLID DRAFT and one we should all be proud of because the front office addressed EVERYTHING they had to and then some.

Dude, let it go. I gave no specific percentage of players that get looked at by all 32 teams. I simply said that it happens. So the fact that this particular player had 17 teams look at him, doesn't tell me a whole lot. Scouts drool over "raw" physical tools far more than they do with just plain ol' production. Just because they showed interest doesn't mean he's all that. It's really pretty simple, the point I'm making.

I'm not going out on a limb and predicting his future. I just don't like the odds. I'm wired, philosophically, with more old school opinions. I don't like these buzzing, trendy prospects that show up right at the end. Sometimes you catch a break, and it works out. But not often.

The rest of those guys you mentioned were UDFA's. I wouldn't say they addressed all their needs. Hopefully, one of the UDFA's surprises us, but we're a long way from having any clue how that's going to work out.

We got the best WR in the draft, you say? I sure can't say I agree with that.
