I've heard of fantasy football, but this reads like fantasy life. I mean put this in perspective of your own performance evaluation. How would you like to hear:

So we'd like for you to take a 25% pay cut and your next evaluation is in two years. We are aware that the market is willing to offer you a 25% pay raise and double the amount of time before your next evaluation. Let's not forget the fact that for Brees and every other NFL player that this is their life and their profession. If this was presented to you, would you even consider it in all honesty? Seriously?

It's a flat insult.

As far as Grayson, I wasn't crazy about the pick and he hasn't done anything to change my mind.

So you then insult the one person that has consistently delivered at the position with a terrible lowball offer? How does that make sense?
