Joe Horn wants to be a Falcon ...
It\'s called the benfit of the doubt. I am the biggest critic of the front office, but you obviously have not been listening to me. I said we trade Joe if and only if we were making a move for a replacement, such as trading for Minny\'s #7 and Mike Williams. I never said blindly trade Joe with no back-up plan. Now I know it would never happen, but that\'s what I would do, not the team.
Howard played under the tag last season cause A) Will Smith was a rookie and B) sullivan was in the process of showing us how much of a bust first round picks could be. We know Will Smith is the real deal, thus Howard playing under the franchise tag is no longer acceptable. We have 2 starters at DE already, show me a team in the league that has three STARTERS at one position. I don\'t think there would be many, if any. It\'s not reality in the cap era. I do believe we will see headway on deals for Bentley and Deuce once Howard is traded. I would bet on it. That\'s a good thing no? Do we want to be franchising Deuce next year like Indy and Seattle have had to do? I should think not. [Edited on 15/3/2005 by saintswhodi] |

Joe Horn will just be like Peerless Price if he goes there. But hey as long as he\'s going to get paid, it wouldn\'t matter to him.

Big contract and a qb who can\'t get him the ball. His value will diminish and he will be considered an overpaid WR. Doesn\'t matter though, I\'d be happy getting the type of money he will be getting no matter how many balls come my way.

um fire venturi if the team can cut guys with years left on their contracts then the players have the right to demand another contract before their current one is up. there is no way you can logically argue that
