Decided to update my final 53 projection. We learned today that Breaux will be put on IR and most likely designated to return while Armstead may avoid IR for the six week stint on PUP.

Bubble popped for him, I think. I liked the idea of him and he was always right in the play...but didn't make it.

Cannot see cutting Banjo to keep Erik Harris.

Dennis Allen seems to put guys out of position to get rid of 'em...

Erik Harris had no business playing FS; he's a SS, he could've even bulked up some and played OLB...

But he was no FS...

He's been injured till this season; but, he's a big part of getting the offense some semblance of balance an a running game to keep opposing defense honest...

Barnes should be cut tomorrow. Consistently bad all pre season. He's not even back up material.

No, I didn't. Josh Hill is the starting TE and they're not gonna pay Fleener that kinda money to be the No. 2 TE...

The obvious consensus is that Anthony is a bust, and that may be true; but though Bighill has played inspired football, and it was hard for me to be objective as I love the guy's game and heart; he needs more time, PS...

So I'd put Anthony on the 53 roster for now till I can evaluate him healthy or move him for another need...

The money for Fleener has already been paid. The Saints are accountable for it whether Fleener is cut or if he sits on the bench. As I've pointed out in other threads, the 2017 dead cap hit for Fleener is $5 million more than his cap hit.

Fleener will be the "starting" TE for the Saints in 2017.

Fascinating we went with RB Edmunds over Victor. Just glad we kept 1 and would've been thrilled with both. Surely, Ingram and AP are gone next season.
