Re: Brandin Cooks Officially Traded to Patriots
Unless im mistaken Ingram never cried he wasn't getting work in a team victory. Ingram is definetley emotional and gets frustrated but not at the expense of the team
Cooks moaning gives out the attitude "Id rather have 150 yards on 8 receptions in a loss, than no receptions in a win" |

Re: Brandin Cooks Officially Traded to Patriots
The fact is that we weren't going to pay him the kind of money another team will pay him. It is no fault against us and no fault against him. The deal doesn't sparkle and shine, but imo this is one where the player wins, and we win too.
It was bound to happen again - a game where he doesn't get the ball. We don't need that drama, particularly if we already know we aren't going to pay top market value for him. Best for him to move on and best for us to get something in return. The market said what it said and that's that. The only real conspiracy might be that we took less to send him some place good since by all accounts he was well liked. But who knows? And don't sell Ginn short either. He put up decent numbers with Cam 'the sham' Newton. I suspect he might do just fine here. |

Butler was getting punked so bad in the Super Bowl it screamed of Jason David. He picked off a 1 yard slant against Seattle. Wooo. I'd rather stick with Webb.
