both Strief and Armstead would qualify under that criteria

The more I ponder this pick, the more I like it. They didn't reach for a player, nor did they move up and lose picks. After getting the #1 CB, the Saints stayed at 32 and picked up a #1 or #2 OT. We needed depth and maybe even a starter on the line. I don't think anyone will argue how important it is to protect Drew Brees in the next few years.

As much as I wanted Foster, this pick feels safe and successful. We've done pretty well with Big 10 O linemen in the past.

Now let's go get Tim Williams, Zach Cunningham, Curtis Samuel, and Jordan Legget.

Was Streiff a issue last year? I heard nothing but raves since it was said he struggled before because of the oline coach.

The issue with Strief is his lack of foot speed... Once he gets beat he doesn't have the athleticism to recover...

That's the way I see it

And yet, over the past five years, he's consistently ranked at or as the best we have...

Hey, I cringe and wait for a limb to fly out when he's in space, it's like watching Willard learn to dance in Footloose...

But other than some really nasty sacks by Ahmad Brooks, Country Boy Strief hasn't had anybody knock him off...

Ramczyk will learn from one of the best and really reminds me of Stan Brock...
